Almost all types of animals where declared sacred…the dog,the cat,the cow and so on but never the pig…what s wrong with the pig?Evan religion through the Bible finds the pig as the host for demons…Is it because it s lazy?The pig sleeps all day and eats so at the end he can be eaten…He understands his life…the fact that he does nothing all day but eat and seep,will lead in a year or so to provide his master,necessary proteins and fat so he won t die from lack of fat…So now what s so wrong with the pig?Why are you so against him?Thank you!

I would not say America, because America seems to be always about beef, then pork/chicken secondary. But I do know a culture in Papua New Guinea, although it might be small, that raises pigs as one of their main sources of meat (fish and chicken also), and they only have it at feasts, and they treat their pigs and feed them better than their dogs.
